  • Miami sculptor Jillian Mayer has brought her interactive Slumpies and large-scale pergola display to Baker Museum's Norris Garden as part of the Florida Contemporary show.   • Manatees are moving to warmer waters at Manatee Park and the Orange River as local temperatures drop. The gathering may persist until the water warms up.  News-Press
  • The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission confirmed an 8-month-old panther was hit by a car on Sunday along County Road 951 in Collier County, 250 yards north of the Naples Heritage entrance, and it urged residents to report any injured or dead panthers via its hotline at 888-404-FWCC (3922).  NBC2
