- ➤ The Alliance for Period Supplies of Southwest Florida aims to boost monthly support from 6,000 to 10,000 for local women and girls over the next two years amid rising costs. The group collaborates with 40 partners to provide menstrual supplies in Collier and Lee counties. Life In Naples
- ➤ At the Naples Winter Wine Festival, a live auction on Jan. 31 raised nearly $30 million through rare wines & luxury travel packages. Proceeds will go to the Naples Children Foundation to expand pediatric health care services in Collier County. The Naples Press

- ➤ At Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, residents, students and visitors are collecting data on coastal wildlife and habitat health in restoration projects at Shell Island Road and Marco Shores. - ➤ Naples resident David Rabjohns urged state lawmakers to approve SB 482 (Florida’s AI Bill of Rights) that will add consumer safeguards such as deepfake protection and parental controls.
