- ➤ Television star Dog the Bounty Hunter (Duane Chapman) made waves on Marco Island in 2023 and became active at local law enforcement and church events; he later moved to Naples, bought property in Sarasota, and left Florida in June 2025. News-Press
- ➤ Debris from the Naples Pier demolition is blocking Bayview Park’s public fillet board, making it hard for charter boat captains and fishermen to clean their catch. The city and county will post updates online once they finalize an agreement to restore access. Fox 4

- ➤ The annual Cars on 5th Concours returns in downtown Naples on Saturday, Feb. 7 when over 750 cars will be on display along Fifth Avenue South and free shuttle service from Collier County Government Center plus ticket options from $50 to $1,250 will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Collier County.
