- ➤ Naples native David Grutman danced during Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime show on Feb. 8, reflecting his longtime role in Miami nightlife. - ➤ Collier County tourism recovered well from extra marketing spending, with bed tax collections increasing 13% & nearly $50 million in fiscal year 2024-25. The report said the boost supported 27,500 jobs as visitors stayed longer despite a drop in Canadian tourists. WGCU

- ➤ Meteorologist Jim Dickey said that despite near-shore waters being 10°F below normal after a recent cold snap, the Gulf remains warm overall thanks to a current from the Caribbean. Models show a shift to El Niño before hurricane season begins on June 1, which may bring fewer strong storms. NBC2
