- ➤ On Jan. 23, Feeding Dreams held an event at Naples Yacht Club that raised $1 million to support its initiatives delivering over 12 million meals and pairing mentors with underserved students. - ➤ Ashley Campbell, daughter of musician Glen Campbell, will headline a benefit luncheon for Baker Senior Center at the Naples Yacht Club Tuesday, Mar. 10, where she will perform her debut single Remembering (written for her father) and share her family's experience with Alzheimer’s. - ➤ The 47th Naples National Art Fair will take place Feb. 20 to 22 at Cambier Park and Park Street, featuring 250 booths and 17 art categories (a key fundraiser). It will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. WGCU

- ➤ Corrin Zurbrigg (a junior at Barron Collier High School) wins the Girl Scout Gold Award today for creating a wheelchair-accessible garden that teaches exceptional student education skills; the project features 10 raised beds and a 10-week curriculum, supported by over $10,000 in community donations. - ➤ On Friday, Feb. 13, Marco Island Academy held its annual pep rally where 15 volunteers, including 12 students and three faculty members, shaved their heads or donated hair to support childhood cancer research with St. Baldrick’s and Locks of Love.
