- ➤ Florida panther 500, a 5-to-6-year-old female, was killed by a vehicle on State Road 82 (near Church Road in Collier) on Tuesday, marking the fourth vehicle-related panther death this year. Since records began in 2014, the death count has reached 500. WINK News
