- ➤ The Bayshore Boardwalk in East Naples opened Feb. 26 to connect Bayshore Drive with Sugden Park after years of planning; Collier leaders and the Bayshore CRA hosted a ribbon cutting that attracted a crowd. Naples Daily News
- ➤ Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida received a $27,500 grant from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation on Feb. 26 to help families with seriously ill or injured children, including housing, meals, transportation & emotional support. - ➤ Global Flight Training Solutions signed a long-term deal with Collier County to develop over 500 acres at Immokalee Regional Airport. The phased project will add hangars for jet storage + hire local maintenance crews and flight instructors as it aims to boost aircraft operations and fuel purchasing. WINK News
