Good morning, Naples.

At Russell Park in Tice, a bystander recorded an officer snapping fishing rods and dragging two teens off the train tracks—teens said one was handcuffed for about 10 minutes and given a warning by the Seminole Gulf Railway Police Department while an LSCO investigation confirmed the officer was not one of its deputies.

More than 50 protestors gathered on Sunday outside the Naples Post Office on Goodlette-Frank Road to support House Resolution 70 and to oppose moves that could change the Postal Service from a public service into a private business — a change they say might lead to fewer deliveries and higher prices. Protesters warned that such shifts could hurt rural areas, seniors, and small businesses — concerns they urge lawmakers to address.
