- ➤ Tossin’ in Paradise, a local cornhole tournament, drew 29 teams to Veterans’ Community Park on Saturday, March 21. Local businesses and volunteers provided food, face painting, and a BBQ tasting (with proceeds going to charity), and organizers say the event’s community spirit is paving the way for next year. - ➤ From 2020 to 2025, over 250,000 new residents moved to Southwest Florida as families, young adults and retirees escaped colder winters during the pandemic, fueling growth in Lee, Collier & Charlotte counties. WINK News
- ➤ Fifty dogs, including 18 puppies rescued from an illegal breeding operation, will be available for adoption through Collier County DAS with additional puppies born in custody. Some animals still need medical care and will remain in foster homes while awaiting adoption. ABC7

- ➤ Diesel prices in Florida hit about $5.53 per gallon yesterday while gasoline prices rose slower, and truckers paid roughly $553 more to refill since the Iran War began & fuel costs are driving up transport expenses, which may cause goods to cost more soon. News-Press
