- ➤ Global investment firms Sculptor and Trinity Investments acquired the iconic JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort for $835 million on Monday, May 4. - ➤ Collier County commissioners approved amendments to nearly 80 acres of the Imperial Lakes Planned Unit Development in North Naples on April 28. The plan, originally approved in 1982, now allows a mix of housing and includes an extension of Veterans Memorial Boulevard (the new access route) to serve the community. News-Press
