- ➤ The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission finished its investigation into Florida’s first deadly black bear attack after finding partial remains of 89-year-old Robert Markel 100 yards from his Jerome home on Monday & killed three bears weighing 207, 263 and 434 pounds after evidence linked a bear to the attack.
