- ➤ On Monday, a 220-acre fire burned in Picayune Strand State Forest near Azure and moved toward structures while crews battled it and nearby streets north of Alligator Alley saw voluntary evacuations (a smaller 30-acre fire along Inez Road was 10% contained with no injuries). Naples Daily News
