- ➤ Florida Gulf Coast University received a $100,000 grant from the PNC Foundation to build an outdoor classroom at the Naples Children & Education Foundation Early Childhood Center that will finish this fall—Baker Senior Center Naples will offer free eye screenings for seniors on Tuesday, June 17 from 1 to 3. A charity golf tournament raised over $100,000 for STARability Foundation and 35 local high school students won $840,000 in scholarships. Naples Daily News

- ➤ America's Military and 1st Responders Museum, located next to the rental car kiosks at Naples Airport, displays over 7,000 artifacts—covering history from the Revolutionary War to modern conflicts—and is now seeking a larger facility due to airport renovations.
