- ➤ Naples' TheatreZone is marking its 20th season as Ghost: The Musical runs through June 15 — co-founders Mark and Karen Danni see this milestone as a tribute to their long journey overcoming hurricanes, the pandemic, and a recession. - ➤ Responsible Government Naples launched a petition to protect Naples Airport as city officials seek to tighten control over its operations and halt a study on relocating the airport, arguing it should operate independently for safety and economic benefits. City leaders have debated the issue after a controversial hangar expansion — airport commissioners will meet on June 19 to review future plans. Fox 4
- ➤ Starting next month, Florida teens applying for their first learner's permit must complete a state-approved driver education course—Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 994 on May 30 and it will take effect on July 1. Teens can meet the requirement by taking a course through Florida Virtual School. ABC7
