- ➤ Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man on Wednesday morning after he fled on foot following a hit-and-run on Interstate 75 near mile marker 122—his truck smashed into a Chrysler that closed the left lane and caused injuries now under investigation. WINK News
- ➤ Collier deputies responded to an active shooter call at Regal Movie Theater on Hollywood Drive in North Naples just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and evacuated the building, later determining the threat was a hoax—FWC officers assisted during the response. WINK News

- ➤ The Naples Philharmonic, active for 43 years with 54 full-time musicians, puts on about 180 shows a year that span classical, pops and movie soundtracks.
