Good morning, Naples.

Jaylen Saintelien — a 5-year-old autistic nonverbal boy — was reported missing Saturday at 3:15 p.m. from his family's new home on Magnolia Pond Circle and was found dead Sunday morning in a pond, with Collier County authorities investigating his death.

Fort Myers tied its record high of 97 degrees on Sunday and Naples reached 98 degrees—today, a forecast of 98 degrees in Fort Myers raises warnings of heatstroke and dehydration risks.

Healthcare Network is expanding its services in Collier County by launching new programs such as primary care addiction treatment, optometry, infusion therapy, and convenient care options to meet growing community needs.

The network has secured funding for a new health center—Van Domelen Community Health Center—and renovated existing facilities while adding a mobile unit to serve underserved areas.

Cancer Alliance Network gives non-medical help like cash for rent, utilities, and groceries to cancer patients and their families in our area—volunteers and donors also boost the effort with fundraising events and hands-on support through programs like KidsCAN, which helps high school students gain community service hours. The nonprofit serves nearly 400 families each year to ease the burdens of living with cancer.
