- ➤ Perry Mason Jr., 49, is accused of trying to burn suspected cocaine during a Collier County traffic stop when deputies smelled marijuana, and he was arrested on charges of cocaine possession, evidence tampering and other misdemeanors—he had three previous cocaine-related arrests in the area. - ➤ Collier County Schools held a ribbon cutting at Bear Creek Elementary in Naples on Aug. 1, 2025 as Principal Margaux Horne and Superintendent Leslie Ricciardelli led the ceremony.
