- ➤ Two sibling panther kittens, each three and a half months old, were hit by a car in Collier County on Sunday—one near Naples Heritage and the other near Madison Park—and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission confirmed 12 panther deaths this year from vehicle collisions while urging drivers to slow down in panther zones.
