- ➤ The Brotherhood Ride held its fourth annual stair climb at Naples Grande Hotel where hundreds climbed 110 flights of stairs to honor first responders who assisted on 9/11—registration fees of $25 supported the families of fallen emergency responders. - ➤ Lee County partnered with Climavision to install a new radar atop the Emergency Operating Center that will be operational by year’s end to detect severe weather and help officials issue early warnings without using taxpayer money—this project fills a critical radar gap. Fox 4
- ➤ RSW shut off its main water line for four hours after midnight Monday due to a terminal expansion project, which closed restrooms except at the rental car facility. Today, when water returns, a boil water notice will be in effect for all terminals and concourses for up to 48 hours—pending tests by the Florida Department of Health. WINK News

- ➤ Lee Health has surpassed 1,500 robotic bronchoscopies that help catch lung cancer early, proving its leadership in robotic-assisted surgery. The hospital added the Intuitive ION platform in late 2023—allowing minimally invasive lung biopsies on 32 robotic systems operated by over 100 trained physicians. Naples Daily News
- ➤ Florida's health department said it will change school vaccine rules in about 90 days by removing mandates for chickenpox, hepatitis B, Hib influenza and pneumococcal diseases—unless lawmakers extend the changes to other illnesses.
