- ➤ Drug-Free Lee and partners held a virtual Communities Talk meeting on October 28 to discuss underage and binge drinking, with FGCU professor Dr. Sandra Pavelka moderating at 6 p.m. FGCU junior Logan Cantrell also contributed as the discussion examined student survey results and the ongoing risks of early alcohol use — a key issue for local youth. - ➤ Sundial Beach Resort and Spa in Sanibel Island will honor local first responders on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 by offering free access to its beach, pool, and water sports from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations are required as first responders must call 866-565-5093 and show a valid work ID for entry.
