  • Naples nonprofits such as Jamaica Outreach Program and Marco Patriots have organized relief efforts to help Jamaica recover from Hurricane Melissa—a Category 5 storm that caused collapsed homes and widespread power outages.   • Naples community members gathered last Saturday at the Planting Seeds of Humanity Charity for Change Gala that raised $400,000 for local elementary school programs in Collier County. Over 400 people attended the annual event—which grew from serving two schools to nearly 25,000 children across Southwest Florida—and organizers said the funds will help expand efforts to teach kindness and generosity.  WINK News
