- ➤ Golden PAWS Assistance Dogs hosted its annual Santa PAWS event at the Ken and Susan Meyer Center in North Naples to celebrate the holiday season, attracting over 150 guests who enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and festive drinks while the nonprofit placed 24 service dogs and introduced 15 new puppies. - ➤ Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue in Naples, founded by Michelle Delaney, has placed nearly 1,000 dogs since 2015 and now seeks more volunteers, donations, and fosters as support has dropped since COVID.
