The USPS started changes to save money that may slow mail delivery in Naples and other areas, with new service standards for First Class Mail, Periodicals, and packages expected to save billions over the next ten years.

The plan cuts 10,000 jobs through a voluntary retirement program and more shifts will roll out on July 1 — which may affect delivery times for some residents.

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Collier County Courthouse on Saturday during the Say No to Tyranny rally to call for change and protect democracy—cars honked and supporters waved flags and signs.
